THE ORIGINAL AIRBOX DESIGN IS RESTRICTIVE UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS. MAINLY IN AN ATTEMPT TO REDUCE INDUCTION ROAR AND THEREFORE MAKE IT QUIETER FOR THE PURPOSE OF HOMOLOGATION.

DESIGNED BY NORMAN IN CONJUNCTION WITH DYNOJET UK THIS WAS ORIGINALLY DESIGNED FOR CARBURETOR MODELS BUT ALSO WORKS WELL ON EFI MODELS. UK PRECISION MADE FROM SOLID ALUMINIUM THIS IS A PRECISION PART.

NEARLY EVERYBODY OUT THERE HAS COPIED OUR DESIGN BUT WE WERE OF COURSE FIRST AND WE KNOW OURS IS CORRECT. WE DON’T KNOW HOW FAITHFULL THE CHEAP PLASTIC COPIES ARE TO OUR DESIGN. A FEW MM DIFFERENCE IS CRITICAL. TO BE RIGHT IS HAS TO DO MORE THAT JUST LOOK RIGHT!

CARB MODELS WILL REQUIRE LARGER MAIN JETS. THE EXACT SIZE WILL DEPEND ON WHAT AIR FILTER AND EXHAUSTS ARE USED. WE CAN ADVISE ON THIS AND SUPPLY HIGH QUALITY MAIN JETS (always buy the best quality jets-cheap jets are a massive false economy). WE CAN ALSO SUPPLY THE CORRECT K&N FILTER.

THE RESULT IS FAR BETTER OVERTAKING MID-RANGE RESPONSE.

ON EFI BIKES NO ADJUSTMENT IS REQUIRED BUT…..AS WITH ALL THINGS EFI HAVING IT MAPPED AFTER FITTING (PCV OR ECU) WILL GIVE INCREASED BENEFITS.
