These top quality rods for the three cylinder engines are CNC machined from 7075 T6 aircraft specification Aluminium Alloy, which has a tensile strength of 550 N/mm. They are produced to the same dimensions as standard rods to ensure correct clearances, but have a thicker shank for increased strength. The super strong big end bolts are specially developed for alloy rods. Standard production big end shells and gudgeon pins can be used.
